Richard E. Vandenberg

Richard E. Vandenberg, age 92, of Crete, IL passed away peacefully on December 16, 2021.  Beloved husband of 68 years to Patricia Vandenberg, nee Newman.  Loving father of Wayne (Barb) Vandenberg, late Marcia (Timothy) Morris, late Kenneth Vandenberg, and the late Allen (Carol) Vandenberg.  Cherished grandfather of nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Dear brother of the late Charles Vandenberg and the late Jean Smith.  Richard retired from Winstrom Manufacturing where he expertly ran the machine tooling room.  He enjoyed bowling, golf, and photography.  Richard was the past President of the 3H Camera Club, former Boy Scout leader of Troop 123, and a Knights of Columbus member.  He was loved by many and will be dearly missed.
