Ricky A. Castillo unexpectedly gained his wings on Tuesday, February 27, 2024. Treasured son of Armando and Rachel Castillo. Loving brother to Eddie and Tiffany Castillo, Jazmin Castillo, Armando and Rebecca Castillo, and Lorenzo Castillo. Fun-loving uncle to Mason, Meila, EJ, and Easton. Adored Grandson of Andy and Linda Castillo, Melody Loya, and Eleazar Loya. Cherished nephew, devoted cousin, and good friend to many.
Ricky was well known for his larger than life personality, humor, crazy antics, and his genuine soul. He showed a great love and protection for his family and friends. This protective spirit and athletic talents in football, wrestling, and MMA earned him the nickname "The Beast." Despite this name, Ricky had the biggest and kindest heart. Always lending a hand to anyone who needed it no matter how long or how little he knew you. He was one who would support your dreams and cheer you on along the way. He loved a good joke and a good time, and with him, you were guaranteed both. Ricky will live on in our memories of his smile, his dance moves, in the songs he remixed, the love he gave, and the impact he made on everyone he met. Our hearts are heavy now, but we know this isn't goodbye. It's until we meet again.
The Castillo family invite you to join them in a celebration of Ricky's life. Beginning at 2 pm until 8 pm on Sunday, March 24, 2024, at the Grant Park Community Center located at 209 W Dixie Highway, Grant Park, IL 60940. Please contact a member of the Castillo family with any questions.
