Robert C. Asmus

Robert C. Asmus, age 94, of Olympia Fields, IL went home to his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 5, 2022.  Beloved husband of Nancy Asmus, nee Dykema.  Loving father of Jeffrey (Sally) Asmus and Susan Kowalewski.  Cherished grandfather of Benjamin, Joshua, and Samuel (Morgan) and great-grandfather of Vanessa.  Dear brother of the late Edward “Bud” (late Helen Mae) Asmus Jr. and their children Alicia Shillington and Edward W. Asmus III. Dear brother-in-law of Doug Dykema and Bobbie (Gordon) Bolt and their children Paul Bolt, Laurel Reynhout, and Carol Rigsbee.  Robert was a proud U.S. Army Korean War veteran.  He was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at First Reformed Church, 15924 South Park Ave, South Holland, IL.
