BIERNAT Robert J. Biernat, age 61, of Steger, IL passed away December 21, 2010 after a valiant battle with cancer. Beloved son of Sophie and late Frank Biernat. Loving twin brother of Ron (Pongnsai) Biernat and loving brother of Beverly DeJovine. Dear uncle of James Biernat. Private Services were held. Interment at St. Casimir Cemetery in Chicago. Robert was a U.S Postal service mail carrier in Chicago Heights for seventeen years and was a U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran. He was also a life member of the Steger VFW post 8283.
