Robert "Bobby" L Thomas

Robert “Bobby” L. Thomas, age 90, of Oak Forest formerly of Chicago Heights, IL, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 7, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Dolores Thomas. Loving father of Kelly (Allen) Harmsen and Tracy (Anita Castillo) Barker. Cherished grandfather of Chrysa (James) Hyde, Joshua (Kyia Poll) Harmsen, and Savannah Barker. Bobby leaves behind many nieces, nephews, stepchildren, and lifelong friends. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents; Giuseppe (Raffaela) Tomassi, siblings; Louis (Virginia) Thomas, Lorraine (Elmer) D’apice, Violet (Joseph) Bishop, and nieces; Linda Cookingham and Jolyn Bishop. Bobby was a proud United States Army Veteran, retired Chicago Heights fireman and barber. He enjoyed dancing, watching football, golfing, playing cards, going to the racetrack, and spending time with family friends, and living life to the fullest.

Visitation to be held Sunday, November 10, 2024 from 12:00 p.m. until time of Funeral Service 5:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475.
