Robert E. Drew Jr.

Robert E. Drew Jr., age 79, of Dyer, IN, formerly of Beecher and Crete, IL, passed away peacefully Wednesday, February 21, 2024.  Loving husband of 59 years of Elaine D. Drew, nee Reiners.  Devoted father of Lori (Patrick) Rupsch, Lisa (Eric) Nichols, and Kathy (William) Krygsheld. Proud grandfather of Amanda (Brian) Marek, Kelsey (Chris) Franz, Jonathan Nichols, William Krygsheld III, Dylan Krygsheld, and Emily Nichols; great-grandfather of Noah and Zack Franz. Dear brother of Gail Hopkins and Gary (Fay) Drew.  Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents Robert E. Sr. and Dorothy Drew. Bob was loved by his family, and many friends, and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.

Visitation Saturday, March 2, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of Bob’s funeral service at 3:00 p.m. directly at Trinity Lutheran Church 1393 Elizabeth St. Crete, IL, 60417, with Pastor Frank Italiano officiating. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery – Crete, IL.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Trinity Lutheran Church, appreciated.
