Robert B. Ettema

Robert B. Ettema, age 81, of Cedar Lake, IN  passed away peacefully Friday, February 7, 2020.  Beloved husband of Maxine Ettema, nee Stewart. Loving father of the late Michael Patrick Ettema, Julie (Michael) Wiencek, Rebecca (Timothy) Schultz, and the late Jennifer Ettema. Devoted grandfather of Michael Wiencek, Sarah (Mark) Meekma, Katy Schultz, and Emma Wiencek and great-grandfather of Graham Michael Meekma.  Dear brother of the late Ross Ettema, late Herman Ettema, late Wayne Ettema, Alyce Vanderbilt, Florence Sterk, Judy Perillo, and Sandra DeValk. Also preceded in death by his parents Herman and Rowena Ettema.  Mr. Ettema was the former owner of the Stewart Roofing Company. Bob was cherished by his family and loved ones and will be dearly missed.

Memorial visitation, Tuesday, February 11, 2020 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 Noon at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt. 30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.)
