Betty Hearne nee Brennan. Devoted father of Ann (Brian) Stepanian, Robert (Christine), Patrick (Brenda) and Timothy Hearne. Proud grandfather of Benjamin, John, Megan, Sally and Katherine Stepanian, Jessica, Samantha, Shannon, Kristen, Staci, Joseph, Leah and Connor Hearne. Dear brother of Lauretta (Jim) Burke, David (Jean), James (Ruth) Hearne, Betty (late Edward) Duggan, Bill (late Dona) and Dennis (Evelyn) Hearne. Fun loving uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents David and Laura Hearne. Bob was a U.S. Army Veteran, a dedicated employee of Illinois Central Railroad for 17 years, a member of Dolton-Lynwood Elks Lodge #2335 and a member of Knights of Columbus Pinta-Neri Council #1846. Bob was the owner of Hearne Construction and Indiana Avenue Lumber Company.
