Robert J. Matthias

Robert J. Matthias, age 65, of Beecher, Illinois passed away peacefully on Monday, May 9, 2022.  Beloved husband of Laura Matthias, nee Hansen.  Loving father of Danny (Elidia Mendoza) Goggins II, Sean Goggins, Carly Matthias, Alexa Matthias, and Michael Matthias.  Cherished grandfather of Mia and Amelia Goggins.  Dear son of the late Virgina Matthias and LeRoy & Cindy Matthias.  Dear brother of David Matthias, late Patrick (Patricia “Susie) Matthias, late Michael Matthias, and Richard (Paula) Matthias.  Fond uncle to many nieces.  Robert was born in Chicago Heights, IL and raised in Monee, IL.  He attended Crete-Monee High School and worked for over 30 years at Bimba Manufacturing in the Quality Control Department.  Robert was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
