Robert "Bob" O''Neill, age 81, of Schererville, IN formerly of Dolton, IL passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 18, 2014. Beloved husband of Noreen E. O''Neill nee Lavelle. Devoted father of Ellen (Bill) White, Carol (Tom) Schultz, Bobby (Karen) O''Neill, and Julie Anne O''Neill. Proud Papa of Terra (fiancé Thomas), Carolyn (Sean), Patrick (Kayla), Colleen, Olivia, Aidan, Erin and Claire. Dear brother of Bill (late Pat) O''Neill, Patsy (Charlie) Brothers, the late Jack (late Helen) and late David O''Neill. Kind uncle of 34 nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents John Patrick and Mae Violet O''Neill nee Hunter. Bob was a graduate of CVS, where he participated in football, wrestling, and speed skating. He was Honorman at Great Lakes, Class of 1953. Proud member of SMW Local 73. Visitation Saturday, February 22, 2014 from 2:00 - 8:00 p.m. Funeral service Sunday, February 23, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home, James E.
