Robert R. Tomczak, age 79, late of Dolton, IL, passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015. Beloved husband of 58 years of Joan D. Tomczak, nee Jackovich. Devoted dad of Julie (Jeffrey) McLaughlin, Cindy (Gerald) Byerly, Pam (Thomas) Knowles, and Kim (Richard) Goldsworthy. Proud grandpa of Jeana (Ashley), Jamie (Ryan) Gasvoda, Jonathan (Autumn) Byerly, Bradley, Adam (Amber), and Matthew Knowles, Richard III, and Meagan Goldsworthy, and the late Gerald Byerly; great-grandpa of Benjamin, Brooklyn, and Brynn. Dear brother of Barbara (Pete) Petropulos, Diane (late Irvin) Pilewski, Ronald (Patricia) Tomczak, the late Lorraine (late Conrad) Maday, and the late Dorothy (late Harold) Kloth. Kind uncle of many nieces and nephews. Loving son of the late Joseph and Anna Tomczak. His kind spirit and warm heart, will forever live on. He was an avid Chicago Bears fan, and spent many Sundays with his brother cheering them on.
