Robert Dale Wells

Robert Dale Wells, age 71, of University Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully Thursday, October 12, 2023. Beloved husband of 45 years of Rita Wells. Loving father of Bridgette (Steven) Camp, John Scalzo, and Robert (Shanel) Wells. Cherished grandfather of Jessica (Kimm) Brzezniak, Joseph (Cinthya) Brzezniak, and Taylor Wells and great-grandfather of Thiago Brzezniak. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Robert was preceded in death by his siblings and his parents. He was a proud US Army Veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Robert worked as a plumber and was a member of the Plumbers Union Local 130. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him. Visitation to be held Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, Illinois 60475.
