Robert F. Wolak, age 87, of Crete, IL, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 17, 2022. Beloved husband of the late Maude Jean Wolak, nee Ebbens. Loving father of Lindsay (Kevin) Nunn and Laurel (John) Van Proyen. Cherished Papa of Mollyanne Nunn, Dr. Annie (Connor) Klingbeil, and Robert Nunn; Great Papa of Charlotte Klingbeil. Dear brother of Norman (Mildred) Wolak, the late Lorraine (Malcom) Grieve, and the late Richard (Marietta) Wolak. Brother-in-law of the late Martha (Edward) Kirner. Kind uncle to many nieces and nephews. Also preceded in death by his parents Barney and Genevieve Wolak, nee Klimczak. Robert was a retired printer for R.R. Donnelley in Chicago, and a United States Army Veteran. A private family graveside service will be held Friday, September 23, 2022 at Oak Ridge Cemetery in Lansing, IL.
