Roberta Townsend nee Mincer, age 83 of Lynwood, formerly of Steger, passed away peacfully on August 3, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Rex Townsend. Loving mother of Rex (Krista), Jacqueline (Cliff) Hayes, James (Laura), Mark (Kathy), Jane (O.R.) McCausley, and Lisa (Tony) Adamczewski. Cherished grandmother of ten grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear sister of Donna Beaman and Marie Hungate. Roberta was preceded in death by three brothers and four sisters.
