Rodney William Pentecost "Beagle", age 78 of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2017. Beloved husband of Patricia Ann Pentecost Noll. Loving father of Scott (Barb) Pentecost, Kelly (Randy) Travis, Greg (Mimi) Pentecost and Lisa (Richard) Postlethwait. Cherished grandfather of thirteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Dear brother of Joetta (late Ronald) Canali and Tinsey (late Ernie) Snell. Rodney was a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He retired after 30 years of service at the Ford Stamping Plant. Visitation, Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. with Funeral Service immediately following from 11:00 to 12:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois.
