Rodolfo A. Rivera, age 90, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully Monday, December 9, 2024. Beloved husband of the late Elidia Rivera nee Cantu. Loving father of the late Juanita Rivera, late Anita Rivera, late Rudy Rivera, late Ricardo (Dawn) Rivera. Cherished grandfather of Kaylee, Alicia, Melanie, and Michael. Caring brother of Elisa Rivera, late Jesus Rivera, late Isabel Salazar, late Juanita Aranda, and the late Jose Rivera. Dear son of the late Jose and Anastacia Perez-Rivera. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews. Loving long time partner of 20 years to Mary Vance. Rodolfo was a proud United States Army Veteran. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation to be held Wednesday, December 18, from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Smits – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475. Interment to follow at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery – 20953 W Hoff Rd, Elwood, IL 60421. In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
