Roger E. Bennett, 71, of Momence, died Tuesday (Dec. 14, 2010) in Momence. Visitation will be from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church in Momence, where funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday. Dr. Vernon Parks will officiate. Burial will be in Momence Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Momence Honor Guard. Arrangements are by the Momence Funeral Chapel in Momence. Mr. Bennett was retired from UniSource, where he was a truck driver. He was born Sept. 14, 1939, in Kankakee, the son of Eugene and Pearl Struple Bennett. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Momence. He was also a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association and a past member of Momence Lions Club. Roger enjoyed flying, boating and spending time with family. Surviving are his wife, the former Anna Mae Davis, whom he married November 1960 in Momence; one son and daughter-in-law, Aaron and Janene Bennett, of Rochester; two daughters and sons-in-law, Daphne and Jeff Graves, and Denean and Scott Campe, all of Momence; and seven grandchildren, Erik and Matthew Graves, Connor and Ryan Bennett, Lukas, Logan and Leigha Campe. He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Barbara Rehmer
