Roger A. Hommes

Roger A. Hommes, age 88, of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 5, 2020. Beloved husband of Arleta R. Hommes, nee Scharnhorst. Loving father of Alex M. (Nhi) Hommes, Cindy L. (Dave) Pomeroy, Brian E. (Kim) Hommes, and Sherrie L. Hommes (in glory). Cherished grandfather of Donovan Hommes, Sarah Zyvoloski, and Justin (Ginny), Jonathon (Karen), and Tyler Pomeroy; great-grandfather of five great-grandchildren. Dear brother of Marilyn Sluis and Donald Hommes (in glory). Roger was a retired teacher and a United States Coast Guard Veteran. He was loved by many and will be missed.

A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at First Reformed Church of South Holland, IL. Memorial contributions may be given to Chicagoland Prison Outreach (236 E 161st Pl, South Holland, IL 60473).
