Roger J. Lamont, age 69, of Hammond, IN, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 28, 2016. Beloved husband of Michaeleen Lamont, nee Conner. Devoted father of Kim (Stuart) Vanderhei, Michael (Kelly) Lamont, and Robert (Arline) Lamont. Proud grandfather of Sam Vanderhei, Michael Lamont Jr., Jason Lamont, Noah Vanderhei, Megan Lamont, Jonathan Lamont, and Joseph Lamont. Loving brother of Judy (late Tony) Francis, Linda Lamont, Donna Lamont, Janice (Bob) Nichter, and the late Jack (Nancy) Lamont. Kind uncle of several nieces and nephews. Memorial visitation Thursday, July 7, 2016 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 6:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30&Pleasant Springs Ln.)
