Roger G. Mumford age 61 of Steger, Il. Passed away on Dec. 20th. 2012. Roger is survived by his loving wife Susan (Nee Franke) Mumford, His loving daughter Marissa and his dear mother Fern Mumford. Roger was preceded in death by his father George, a brother Michael and a sister Mary. Visitation for Roger will be held at the Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Il. On Thursday Dec. 27th. From Noon until 9:00 P.M.. Funeral services will be held on Friday Dec. 28th. At 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home. Interment will be at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Worth, Il. Roger was a long time Chief of the Steger ESDA Dept. President and Founder of S.M.A.R.T. and a long time Project Manager for the Village of Steger, Il.
