Roger G. Peckham, age 70 of Sauk Village, Illinois, passed away peacefully July 16, 2018. Beloved husband of Kristie Peckham nee Lightfoot. Loving father of Michael (Stacey) Peckham and Mathew (Lauren) Peckham. Cherished grandfather of Connor, Owen, Mason, and Chase Peckham. Dear brother of Richard (Shirley) Peckham. Roger was a former Treasurer and President of the District 168 Sauk Village School Board, former Trustee and Mayor of Sauk Village, served on Board at Illiana Credit Union, and was an Auditor for the Indiana Department of Revenue for over 32 years. He enjoyed spending time with family, serving the community and golfing with friends.

Visitation, Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 3:00 until time of Funeral Service 6:30 p.m. at the Smits Funeral Homes – Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd., Steger, IL. Interment private. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society appreciated. 708 755-6100 or smitsfh.com
