Romelio Cruz , age 60, of South Holland, IL passed away Thursday, April 4, 2013. Romelio was preceded in death by his first wife Teresa Gonzales-Cruz. Beloved husband of Jovita Gandarilla-Cruz, loving father Juan Cruz, Romel (Laticia) Cruz, Juliana (Jose) Gonzalez, Adrian (Vanessa) Cruz and Eduardo Cruz, dear grandfather of 6; fond brother of Rosalva Cruz, Elias Cruz, Agustin Cruz, Jesus Cruz, the late Miguel Cruz, and the late Estenio Cruz. Visitation will be Sunday, April 7, 2013 from 3:00 - 9:00 p.m. at Smits DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home (645 E 162nd St (Rt 6) South Holland, IL 60473). A funeral mass will be held Monday, April 8, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church . Assumption Cemetery - Glenwood, IL.
