Ronald G. Koning, age 76, of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 7, 2017. Beloved husband of Virginia Koning nee Obenza. Loving father of Kimberly (Adam) Flahive. Cherished grandfather of Ethan, Kieran and Norah Flahive. Dear brother of Donna (Joe) Wadyko, Rich Koning, Robert (Sharon) Koning and the late Doreen Koning. Ronald will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Visitation, Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel, 3045 Chicago Rd, Steger, Illinois. Interment private.
