Ronald R Struven, age 84, of Thornton, IL passed away Friday, October 19, 2012. Beloved husband of 64 years to Lois (nee Maxwell) Struven. Dearest father of Forrest (Claudia) Struven, Rhonda (Robert) Gephart, and Suzanne (James) Mooney; cherished grandfather of Kirk (Karina) Struven, Erik (Alyson) Struven, Kristie(Regan) Ruchala,Katherine Gephart, Robert J Gephart, and eight beloved great grandchildren. Mr. Struven was a member of the Thornton fire department for 40 years. He retired from Acme Steel Co. and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran church in Thornton.
