Russell G Hayes, age 88, of Matteson, Illinois, passed away peacefully on December 14, 2015. Beloved husband of the late Lillian M. Hayes nee Bijak. Loving father of Clifford (Jacqueline) Hayes, late Jeffery Hayes and the late Randall Hayes. Cherished grandfather of Jennifer, Suzanne, Mason. Great grandfather of Logan, Merida, Adriana and Mya. Dear brother of Rosemary Englund, Curtis, the late Lewis and the late Gerald (Barbara) Hayes. Memorial Visitation Tuesday December 22, 2015 from 10:30 a.m. until time of Memorial Service 11:30 a.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, Illinois.
