Russell L. Parish age 80, of Schererville, IN passed away Saturday, December 18, 2010. Beloved husband of 43 years of Billie Jo Parish nee Lawson. Devoted father of Tammy (Ralph) Diaz, Patricia (Frank) Stanzione, Lynn (Michael) Markez, Vickie (William) Fraticelli, Sandra Wagoner. Step father of Michael Joe (Linda) Cobb, Edmund Cobb and Sheila (Robert) Stevenson. Proud grandfather of 15; great grandfather of 13; great-great grandfather of one. Dear brother of Robert Parrish and Betty Clements. Preceded in death by his sister Mildred and parents Waverly and Eva Marie Parish. Mr. Parish was a longtime member of the Moose Lodge. He loved fishing, hunting, playing horseshoes and poker. He worked for Bee Chemical for over 40 years and was retired from Morten International. Loved by many, he will be missed. Russell was a strong man and a loving father and husband. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Interment " private.
