Russell Roesner

Russell William Roesner, Age 74 of Steger, Illinois passed away peacefully October 21, 2016. Beloved husband of the late Rita L. Roesner nee Sylvester. Loving father of Annette (Allen) Umfleet, Janie (Butch) Keene and Richard (Jessie) Claus Jr. Cherished grandfather of Amanda (Joe) Hill, Alison Umfleet, Danielle (Sunny) Smith, Becka Claus, Travis ( Brooke) Keene, Natalie (Louis) Orgeron. Great-Grandfather of, Preslee, Summer, Avaree and soon to be Karter. Sister- in law Chickie Martin, Brother-law Joe Borsilli, his lady friend and traveling buddy Brenda Panozzo, and his dog Lacy. Preceding him death was his parents George and Katherine Reichert Roesner and his sister the late Janice (late Denny) Pelock. Dear uncle to a host of nieces nephews and cousins. Russ' nickname was bobber for obvious reasons. He loved to fish every chance he got. He also took pride in watching his grands and great-grands sporting events. He was a Harley Rider and remained close to his fellow bikers after he retired his bike. He will be greatly missed by everyone who knew and loved him.
