Russell J. Tamminga, age 81, of Crown Point, IN, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018. Beloved husband of Grace Tamminga, nee Elzinga. Loving father of James Tamminga, Carol (Sean) Jones and a late infant daughter Laura. Proud grandfather of Abigail Stege. Dear brother of the late David (late Helen) Tamminga, late John (Carolyn) Tamminga, late Mary (late Clarence) Smit, and the late Dorothy Hedrick. Visitation Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at First Christian Reformed Church of Crown Point (909 E. Greenwood Ave., Crown Point, IN 46307) with services conducted by Rev. Joel Sheeres. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South - Oak Lawn, IL.  Memorial contributions may be given to Compassion International or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
