Ruth A. Jacobs, nee Van Der Aa, age 78, of South Holland passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Beloved wife of the late Augustus "Gus" Jacobs. Loving mother of Larry Jacobs, Dave(late Mary) Jacobs, and Linda(Michael) Bulich. Devoted grandmother of David(Abby), Daniel(Jennifer), Samuel(Loran), Joseph, and Joshua Jacobs and Mikayla and Lindsey Bulich and preceded in death by a granddaughter Sarah Jacobs. Cherished great-grandmother of Nicholas, Samuel, and Thaddeus. Dear sister of Don(Shirley) Van Der Aa, Glenn(Karen) Van Der Aa, and the late Mary Ann(Merv) Schweigert.
