Ruth L Marcinkowski

Ruth L. Marcinkowski nee Gibasiewicz, age 94. Born in Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Steger, Illinois, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2014 in Danforth, Illinois. Beloved wife of the late Edwin Marcinkowski. Loving mother of Gail (Joseph) Spytek and Susan (Rodney) Williams. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer Spytek and Rebecca (Eric) Ferrebee. Ruth was preceded in death by four siblings; Marie Dubrownik, Eleanor Cole, Angela Renk and Alexander Gibbs. Survived by several nieces and nephews. Visitation Sunday October 19, 2014 from 2:00 - 7:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL. Funeral Mass Monday 10:00 a.m at St. Liborius Catholic Church - Steger, IL. Interment Calvary Cemetery - Steger, IL. Ruth retired from St. James Hospital as a nurse after over 25 years of service.
