Ruth Markoff

Ruth Markoff, age 97, of Steger, IL, passed away peacefully February 20, 2015. Beloved wife of the late John Markoff Sr. Loving mother of Arlene (James) Metro, Theresa Markoff, Marge (Tony) Fuerst, Michael Markoff Sr., Anthony (Mary Elizabeth) Markoff and the late John Markoff Jr. Cherished grandmother of ten; and one great-granddaughter. Dear sister of Beulah Rito. Preceded by three sisters and three brothers. Loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. Ruth was a member of the Council of Catholic Women of St. Liborius Church. Visitation Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 3:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL 60475.
