Samuel Joseph De Arce

Samuel Joseph De Arce, age 26, of South Holland, IL passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 1, 2023.  Beloved son of Sheri (Mike) Bronecke and Daniel De Arce.  Loving brother of Chad Bronecke and Ruby Bronecke.  Devoted grandson of Barbara (late William) Slateritz and the late Carol Robertson and the late David De Arce.  Cherished nephew of Sandy (Doug) Meyers, Debbie (Dave) Sjoerdsma, Mike De Arce, and the late Gail De Arce-DeBartolo.  Dear cousin of Maddie Meyers and Remy Meyers.  Best friend of Brandon Lucken.  Sam loved watching basketball (especially LeBron James). He enjoyed anything to do with cars, trucks, and beer.  Wrestling and Sponge Bob were also favorite things in Sam’s life along with “Doggo”. He was an employee of Peterbilt Trucking Co. in South Holland. Sam had many friends and many more family members including Aunts, Uncles, & Cousins who loved him deeply.  He will be missed.

Visitation with family and friends will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 649 E. 162nd St. South Holland, IL.
