Sara Jimenez, age 73, of Homewood, IL, passed away peacefully on January 3, 2018,. Beloved wife of Jaime Jimenez; loving mother of the late Felipe Jimenez, Jaime A. Jimenez, Lina (Flavio) Ponce and Elizabeth Jimenez (Andres Ramirez) ; adoring grandmother of Mila Ponce, dearest sister of Teresa (Lynn) Schriener. Sara will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation Monday, January 8, 2018 3-8pm at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road, Steger, IL 60475.
