Sharon L. Heikema, nee Loomis, age 69,of St. John, IN, formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away Wednesday, September 7, 2016. Beloved wife of William Heikema. Loving mother of Andrew Heikema.  Dear sister of William F. (Denise) Loomis. Preceded in death by her parents William and Lila Loomis and a sister Janice Loomis.   Visitation Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m.  Funeral service Monday, September 12, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Smits Funeral Home 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30&Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN with services conducted by Rev. Andy Nearpass and Chaplain Hank Elgersma. Interment Homewood Memorial Gardens – Homewood, IL.
