Sheree L. Mata

Sheree Lynn Mata, nee Lemajeur, age 54, of Steger, IL, passed away on Tuesday, September 16, 2025. Beloved wife of Martin Mata. Loving mother of Bryanna (Daniel Clarke) Teneyuca, Noah Mata and the late Rocco Mata. Cherished daughter of Roger and the late Rita Lemajeur nee Heyer. Dear sister of Daniel Lemajeur, Rena (late Frank) Barnes, Margie Lemajeur, and the late Thomas (late Linda) Lemajeur. Kind aunt of many nieces and nephews.

She loved her family with all her heart, cared for countless animals as if they were her children, and found solace in the rhythm of the waves - her loss is felt deeply by her family, friends, and loyal pets.
