Shirley Jo Ainsworth, nee Greenwell, age 91, of Crete, Illinois, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 21, 2026. Beloved mother of Sandy Brinton, the late Gary Ainsworth, late Cynthia Zych and late Diane Ainsworth. Loving grandmother "Moo" of Sarah (Justin) Burch, Amber Ainsworth, Jamie Natale, Robert Natale, Elise Zych, Late Jessica Ainsworth, Autumn Zych, Nicholas Allen, Austin (Britney) Brinton, Leatha Noble, Ryan (Danielle) Zych and Tanya Noble. Cherished great-grandmother of Gabby, Natalie, Aubrey, Logan, Jax, Kaylin, Ethan, Charlotte, Korrin, Alexandria, Noah, June, Holden, Hadley, Aria, Oliver and Miles. Dear sister of Betty Payne and Gerleen Duggar. Dear aunt to many nieces and nephews. Shirley was preceded in death by 10 siblings and her parents Anderson and Roxie Greenwell.
