Shirley G. Davis, nee Hill, age 89, late of Schererville, IN formerly of South Holland, IL, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 18, 2015. Beloved wife of the late George Davis. Devoted mother of Linda (David) Urban, Cheryl (Richard) Pearlman, George (Patty) Davis, Diane Borgia, Steve (Sharon) Davis, and Lisa Broda. Proud grandmother of 17: Chris, Craig (Beth Ann), Jason (Kim), Bethany (Tony), Julia (Sean), Jeffrey (Hillary), Jeremiah, Stephanie (Rob), Samantha, Meghan, Thaddeus, Austin, Jenna, Destiny, Shannon, Rhiannon (Trey), and Joseph (Amanda); Great-grandmother of 16: Isabel, Madeline, Nathan, Eva, Anthony, Brianna, Olivia, Lauren, Alexis, Lucas, Logan, Laurel June, Jax, Max, Phoebe, and Tegan. Dearest sister of June and sister-in-law of Pat. Memorial visitation Thursday, February 19, 2015 from 5:00 - 9:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane (Rt.30 & Pleasant Springs Ln.) Dyer, IN.
