Shirley J. Mansberger nee Trudeau, age 81, of Momence, IL passed away August 5, 2011 at Riverside Hospital. Beloved wife of Howard Mansberger, married Nov. 22 1950. Loving mother of Floyd Mansberger and Larry (Sarah Lawrence) Mansberger. Cherished Grandmother of Thomas Mansberger. Dear sister-in-law of Kenneth Kros and Shirley Trudeau. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Mansberger was preceded in death by her parents: John and Faye Trudeau, two brothers: Delore and Beryl, and two sisters: Beverly Hawkins and Judy Kros. Visitation Tuesday, August 9th from 9:00 until time of service 11:00 a.m. at First United Methodist Church (111 W. 4th St Momence, IL). Interment Kankakee Memorial Gardens " Kankakee, IL. Memorials to Hospice of Kankakee Valley appreciated. Shirley enjoyed cooking, quilting, crafting, was active with the Ladies Group at church, Kankakee County Home Extensionand enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandson Thomas. Shirley owned and operated Shirleys Cut and Curl, and also worked many years for Manteno Mental Health and retired from the State of Illinois with Shapiro Developmental Center.
