Shirley May Schmidt

Shirley May Schmidt, nee Boersma, age 83, of South Holland, IL passed away on Monday, December 6, 2021.  Beloved wife of William Schmidt.  Loving mother of Jerry (Dawn) Schmidt and Michael (Carolyn) Schmidt.  Cherished grandmother of Steven (Jamie), Justin (Jessica), Daniel (Amanda), Drew, Robert, and Jennifer Schmidt; great-grandmother of Kaiden, Hayden, McKenzie, Kinley, and Brighton.  Dear sister of Marlene (late Henry) Cook and the late Nancy Boersma Boss.  Preceded in death by her parents Menno and Margaret Boersma.  Shirley was loved by many and will be deeply missed.

Visitation Sunday, December 12, 2021 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits, DeYoung-Vroegh Funeral Home, 649 E. 162 ^nd St, South Holland, IL.  Funeral service Monday, December 13, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home.  Interment Mt.
