Shirley M. Zeilenga

Shirley M. Zeilenga, nee Olgers, age 82, of Lansing, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday, April 6, 2019. Loving wife of the late Thomas J. Zeilenga and the late Gerald R. Heerema. Devoted mother of Wayne (Theresa) Heerema, Brenda (Bryan) DeYoung, Luann (James) Bulthuis, Gayle (Edward) Ritzema, and Karen (David) Rule. Proud grandmother of 12; great-grandmother of 9. Dearest sister of Margaret (Melvin) Dokter, Carol (Carl) Dulmes, Earl (Mary) Olgers, Sheila (James) Jones, and the late Beatrice (late Dwayne) Nyenhuis. Kind aunt to many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her parents Lambert and Isla Mae Olgers.

Memorial visitation Saturday, April 20, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the memorial service at 11:00 a.m. at Thorn Creek Reformed Church 1875 E. 170 ^th St. South Holland, IL , with Rev. Tom Archer officiating. Private inurnment at Skyline Memorial Park Cemetery – Monee, IL.
