Simon “Sam” Van Deursen, age 83, of South Holland, IL passed away Wednesday, August 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Evelyn Van Deursen, nee Hensley. Loving father of Jeffrey (Angela) Van Deursen and Jennifer (Jim) Sterling. Devoted grandfather of Jacob and Emily Van Deursen, and Jessica, Jamie, Joshua, and Jason Sterling. Dear brother of the late Nellie (late Christian) Mulder, late Bastian "Bud" (late Margaret) Van Deursen, Grace "Babe"(late John) Hayworth, and the late John Van Deursen Jr. Dear uncle of several nephews and nieces.
