Stanley D. Reinsma, age 86, of St. John, IN, formerly of Lansing/Lynwood, IL, went home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday, February 11, 2024. Beloved husband of Kathryn Jean Reinsma, nee Bakker.  Loving father of William (Susan) Reinsma, Kristen (Paul) Meekma, and Steve (Barb) Reinsma. Caring step-father of Karin (Ray) Gerson, Rob Gerson, and Sharyn Jones. Proud grandfather of Michael Meekma, Mark (Sarah) Meekma, Luke (Emma) Meekma, Lauren (Adrian) Fortner, Levi Meekma, Maya Reinsma, and Erik Summers. Great-grandfather of Graham and Miles. Dear brother of Ray (Jackie) Reinsma, Durk (Dianne) Reinsma, and the late Magdalene (late Jack) Earnshaw. Proud uncle of many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his first wife Lois Reinsma, nee Haaksma and his parents Durk and Jessie Reinsma.

Stanley was a proud United States Army veteran and was the founder of Reinsma Construction.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Visitation Wednesday, February 14, 2024 from 3:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. The  Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 15, 2024 at 12:00 noon at Smits Funeral Home with Rev.
