Stella De Boer

Stella DeBoer, nee Kooi, age 76 of Chicago Heights, IL passed away Friday, December 21, 2012. Beloved wife of John; loving mother of John(Sandra) DeBoer, Debra(Greg) Kikkert, and Brian(Lisa) DeBoer; devoted grandmother of 10 and great-grandmother of 5. Dear sister of Christine(Marv) Spender, Barney(late Virginia) Kooi, Bill(Lorraine) Kooi, Benny(Dorothy) Kooi, and Albert(Judy) Kooi. Aunt to many nephews and nieces. Mrs. DeBoer was also preceded in death by a son-in-law: Ken Terpstra. Visitation Wednesday, December 26, 2012 from 3:00 - 8:00 P.M. at the Trinity Reformed Church, 8411 Columbia Avenue Munster, IN. Funeral Service Thursday, December 27, 2012 at 11:00 A.M. at Trinity Reformed Church with Rev. Rich Bawinkel officiating. Private burial prior to the funeral service at Oak Ridge Cemetery - Lansing, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given Hospice of the Calumet Area.
