Stephen D. Stackhouse, age 66, of Crete, IL passed away March 18, 2010. Beloved husband of Mary Lou Stackhouse nee Boisvert. Loving father of Barb (Dave) Schroeder. Cherished grandfather of Justin, Jesse, Holly, Ashley, Brooke, Cheyenne and Bailey. Dearest brother of Dennis (Gloria) Stackhouse, Roger (Carol) Stackhouse and Late Barbara Ann Stackhouse. Visitation Sunday March 21st from 2:00 " 8:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) Funeral Service Monday 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery in Clinton, IL. Mr. Stackhouse was a 41 year employee of the Century Steel Co. in Chicago Heights, a U.S Navy Veteran, a member of the V.F.W Post 717 in St. John, IN. and the Century Steel Golf League.
