Stephen Frank Zeman

Stephen Frank Zeman, age 73 of Crete, IL passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on Friday, June 30, 2023. Beloved husband of Joan Zeman nee Spencer. Loving father of Jennifer (Ed) Walter, Stephan (Christina) Zeman and Zachary (Rebecca) Zeman. Cherished grandfather of 8 grandchildren. Dear stepfather, step-grandfather, and step-great grandfather of many. Caring brother of the late Phyllis Crockett and the late Carol Zartler. Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews. Stephen was preceded in death by his wife Sandra L. Zeman, and parents Frank and Alice Zeman. Stephen was a proud United States Marine Veteran and was a millwright for Material Services Local 701. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life to be held at later date. Arrangements entrusted to Smits, Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Rd. Steger, IL.) Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers memorials to the American Cancer Society or plant a tree in memory of Stephen, as he loved the outdoors.
