Steven Michael Haak

Steven Michael Haak, age 24, of Lansing, IL, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020.  Loving son of Jon and Debra Haak.  Dear brother of Crystal (Kyle) Lute, Rachel Haak, Matthew Haak, and David Haak.  Grandson of Marjorie and the late John “Joe” Verbeek, and the late John and late Ida Haak. Loving nephew and cousin to many.

Friends may visit with the family on Thursday, July 9, 2020 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the private funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN with Rev. Daniel Svendsen officiating.  Private interment will be held prior to the visitation at Oak Ridge Cemetery – Lansing, IL. Some of Steven’s happiest times were during his years at Elim Christian Services, so in his memory, in lieu of flowers, contributions may be given to Elim.
