MICHALAK Sue T. Michalak nee Kubinski, age 87, late of South Holland, IL. Passed away Wednesday, February 4, 2009. Beloved wife of the late Richard F. Michalak. Devoted mother of Daniel (Carolyn) Michalak and Melanie Michalak. Proud grandmother of Daniel. Dearest sister of the late Karol (Audrey) Kubinski and late Stanley Kubinski. Dear sister-in-law of the late Florence, Adele, Raymond (Wanda) and Johnny Michalak; Pat (Herb) Cook; Helen (Tony) Bruno and Dolores (Cas) Paleczny. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Michalak was the Chicago Sun-Times Woman of the Year, State of Illinois Volunteer of the Year Nominee, for decades served on the Board of Directors for South Holland Historical Society, Officer of Ivanhoe Garden Club, U of I Extension Homemakers, Holy Ghost Polish-American Club and Friendly Neighbors, Southwest Polish Society and Polish Home Assoc.
