Susan G. Trentacosti

Susan G. Trentacosti, age 69, of Glenwood, IL, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday, April 11, 2026. Dear auntie of Rob (Chris) Witvoet and Amanda (Will) McMahan. Great-auntie of Drew, James, Peter, Lizzy, Rayna, and the late Jocelyn. Preceded in death by her sister Ellen (Boyd “Bud”) Witvoet, and by her parents Robert and Lois Trentacosti.

Susan loved spending time with her family and friends, often doing crafts and activities. Her love of travel took her to experiences throughout the United States and many parts of the world. Her publishing career was with one company for nearly 48 years, Richard D. Irwin Inc. and through all the mergers now is McGraw Hill.

Visitation with family and friends will be held Friday, April 17, 2026 from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Smits Funeral Home, 2121 Pleasant Springs Lane, Dyer, IN. Funeral service Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. at Lynwood United Reformed Church, 1990 Glenwood-Dyer Rd., Lynwood, IL with Rev. Nick Alons officiating. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South – Oak Lawn, IL.
