Susanna Lacheta (nee Opilka), age 69, of Chicago Heights, Illinois, passed away peacefully, July 16, 2017. Beloved wife of Robert Lacheta for 44 years; loving mother of Kimberly (Bryan) Buczkowski and Janice (Anthony) Jordan; adoring grandmother of Alyssa, Kaylin, Jacob, Clara, and Allan; cherished sister of John (Kay) Opilka and the late Leon Opilka; dearest sister in law of James (Audrey) Lacheta and Mary (late John) Lacheta. Susanna will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Visitation Thursday, July 20, 2017 from 4-8pm at Smits Funeral Homes-Steger Memorial Chapel 3045 Chicago Road Steger, IL 60475.
