Ted J. Opyt, age 76, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2007. Beloved husband of Dorothy Opyt nee Zywicki. Devoted father of Ray (Kathi) Marocco, Kenneth Opyt, Alan Opyt, Valerie (Roger) Lange and Steve Opyt. Proud grandfather of seven. Dear brother of Leonard (Mary) Opyt and Walter (Kim) Opyt. Visitation Wednesday, March 21, 2007 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. at the Smits Funeral Home " Steger Memorial Chapel (3045 Chicago Road, Steger, IL). Mr. Opyt was a World War II Air Force Veteran and a retired supervisor at Ford Motor Company - Chicago Heights.
